Post The X Factor[]
In May 2015, they announced they had signed to Warner Music with their debut single due for release in the summer. The single was due for release on July 31 but due to the migrant crisis the single was pushed back a week in the UK. It missed out on a Top 50 placing, but was the most physically purchased song of the week. On August 18, they announced their first headline tour, which started nearly two weeks later.
On November 6, Parisa Tarjomani announced her departure from the band via her blog and the rest of the band soon announced their split.
Trivia[]
- Former Union J member George Shelley was an original member of the band but departed in 2012 to audition for Series 9 of the show. Union J advanced to the semi-final and finished in fourth place with Union J also being mentored by Louis Walsh.
