Lucie Jones is a Welsh singer, actress and model who auditioned for Series 6 of The X Factor. She finished in 8th place overall and was mentored by Dannii Minogue as part of the Girls category.

She was born in the Welsh village of Pentyrch, on the outskirts of Cardiff, on 20 March 1991. She had vocal training from the same person who trained fellow Welsh woman Charlotte Church.

The X Factor

She auditioned in 2009 singing "I Will Always Love You" and was eventually chosen by Dannii Minogue to go through to the live shows. She survived being in the Bottom 2 until Week 5 when she found herself singing for survival against twins John and Edward Grimes. The judges' vote went to deadlock and she was controversially eliminated after it was revealed she had polled fewer votes than the twins.
