The X Factor

He auditioned for Series 8 singing "Valerie" by The Zutons and got four yeses from the judges. At bootcamp, he impressed everyone with his rendition of "Iris" by The Goo Goo Dolls and made it to judges' houses as part of the Boys category mentored by Gary Barlow. He was selected as a Top 3 finalist for the live shows.

In Week 2 he found himself in the Bottom 2 alongside group Nu Vibe but was saved by the judges via majority vote. He made it all the way to Week 5 when reports surfaced that he had bragged about his drug use, which was against the show's rules. He decided to withdraw from the competition, thus finishing in 9th place. This paved the way for Amelia Lily to return after she had been voted out in Week 1.

Post The X Factor

On 5 January 2012, he entered Celebrity Big Brother 9 and came out finishing second to Denise Welch on 27 January 2012. He was also on The Million Pound Drop: Celebrity Games alongside his Celebrity Big Brother housemate Natalie Cassidy.

The same year he released his debut single "She's Got a Motorcycle", which peaked at #89 on the UK charts. Two follow up singles failed to chart. He is currently the lead singer of pop rock band The Telescreen.
