Series 1 began on March 3, 2011 with a judging lineup of Tito Beltrán, Karen Doggenweiler and Zeta Bosio and hosted by Julián Elfenbein. This season was eventually won by 25-year-old Sergio Járlaz who was mentored by Tito Beltrán in the Over 25s category.

Series 2 began on March 7, 2012, and saw the departure of Zeta Bosio who was replaced by José Luis Rodríguez and Mon Laferte. Julián Elfenbein returned as host. This season was eventually won by 16-year-old Juan Gabriel Valenzuela who was mentored by José Luis Rodríguez in the Boys category.
