4Tune were an English boyband consisting of Phil Kemish, brothers Mike and Anthony Hannides and their cousin Simon Vitsaides who competed in Series 2 of The X Factor as part of the Groups category mentored by Simon Cowell. They were eliminated in Week 2 of the live shows, finishing in 11th place.
The X FactorEdit
They first auditioned for the show in 2004, successfully making it all the way to Judges' Houses as part of the Groups category mentored by Louis Walsh. However, they were sent home after Walsh chose to take Voices with Soul to the live shows instead.
They returned a year later and again made it as far as Judges' Houses, this time as part of the Groups category mentored by Simon Cowell. They were selected as one of the finalists for the live shows but in Week 2 ended up in the Bottom 2 alongside Chenai Zinyuku in spite of giving a strong performance. They were eliminated after Sharon Osbourne had the casting vote and later claimed they had been sent home due to a personal vendetta between the judges.
Post The X FactorEdit
Failing to find success, the group disbanded. The Hannides brothers are now songwriter/producers; their work has included "My Name" by McLean and "Every Little Part of Me" by Alesha Dixon. Kemish now works in online marketing for musical acts.
